The external works continue at the start of 2022, with a focus on the retaining walls, lower flower beds and the steps into the garden which is all really taking shape now. Further work is expected on the extension part of the building next week if the block work is delivered (it turned up this week but the lorry driver refused to attempt getting into the drive). We’ve started clearing out the kitchen in preparation for impending destruction of the external wall and current layout. That might still be a few weeks away as steel planning starts on Monday.
