Another busy week, and we’re getting very close now to all the existing walls being taken out. One last steel to go in after three were installed this week. Given the thickness of the original walls it’s been a significant engineering feat to get the steels in without causing impact on the existing building. So good so far!
The rest of the ceiling joists went in too, so we now get a really good feeling for the views the lanterns will give us. During the sunny days they also took the opportunity to start the rendering of the patio walls.
Given the stage we are at we now need to start confirming some of our choices on doors, tiling and coping stones etc to ensure all elements are lined up for the major fitting dates we’ve locked in.
