A week focussed on activity to be able to remove the scaffolding, some of which has been up since July. As well as an additional painter doing all of the outside woodwork for the windows and frames, there were various trades in to complete the chimney work. That is now very close, with just a small bit of painting to go once the rendering has dried over the weekend. Internally, painting continued mainly in the annex corridor and the electricians were back to install new lights to the hall and landing.
- Brickwork completed to chimney, including all repointing
- Chimney flashing completed
- Rendering to chimney completed (on Saturday)
- All external woodwork painting completed, including weather proofing of top board
- Back door frame painted, and rear wall external paintwork touched up throughout
- New lights installed to Hall & Landing
- Annex corridor prepped for painting, including filling and further undercoat applied
- Annex cupboard doors stripped back and painted with initial coat
- Annex corridor ceiling painted, including loft hatch
- Initial painting of woodwork to annex corridor
