A very busy week at work meant we were largely distracted from the progress, but we are now 99% complete internally with just one window shelf in the bathroom to go in. Everything else including replacing the bathroom handles and locks is now completed, and final touches were applied to paint work and tiling sealant.
There is likely only a week’s worth of work left outside, but actual completion of that may be dependent on whether and availability of the glass being delivered for the decking area. Given we are down to these final pieces, we’ll save the last update to when that has all been completed.
Main activities:
- Touch up of paint internally to kitchen walls, ceiling and roof lanterns
- Final completion of kitchen floor mastic edging
- Sealant applied to tiles in hall and cloakroom
- Sealant added to sink of cloakroom
- Main bathroom door lock and handles fitted
- En-suite door lock and handles fitted
- Door handles fitted to all upstairs bedrooms
- Measuring for glass balustrade and initial prep work for fitting in to track
- Further removal of material and tools from the site
