A busy week started with lots of activity on Monday, including the starting of the tiling in the hall. That carried on through the week as well as lots of further work on the window frames internally and lots more painting and decoration – including the cloakroom lower walls and ensuite areas. Whilst I was away sailing at the end of the week, Clare also had a surprise visit from The Wood Works (our kitchen suppliers & fitters) who came back to fix one of the under counter lights and apply a further treatment to the main breakfast bar wood. Next week will see FGC back to fix the broken glass door, whilst the main builders will continue with a focus on further work through the house.
Summary of activities:
- Tiling applied to main hall floor – last 4 inverse corners still to go
