The first two rows of blocks have gone in to the level of the extension flooring, along with blocks to start the retaining wall for the garden. Whilst we were out celebrating my birthday, they spent the time laying the old paving slabs, smashing them to pieces and mixing them with asphalt to build up to the level of the flooring bricks. More blocks were also lined up for next week.
