Finally – a photo finish…!
A long overdue final post now the project is completed. Lots of pictures to give a final view of the work.
Week 68 – Skipping ahead
Painting of patio walls and steps, fitting of patio balustrade frame and general clearing & tidying
Week 67 – Edging ever closer
Cracks re-painted throughout, patio door area tiled and drainage fitted and various other finishing tasks completed
Week 65 – Get the deck in!
Decking fully fitted, including side panels and edges and a few internal jobs ticked off the list
Week 64 – Small steps forward
Main grouting finished, side steps formed and tiled and walls and stairs painted throughout
Week 63 – Coping in the cold
Coping edges completed, decking and grouting started.
Week 62 – Stepping Up
Main patio areas completed, coping edging started and lots more groundwork and levelling and grading of beds and garden areas.
Week 61 – Digging in for the cold spell
A week focussed on outside work, lot’s more progress on the patio, painting of external walls and more digging and bed preparation
Week 60 – Patio take 2!
Major focus on the outside work, with patio going back down and lots of digging and groundwork to beds. Further completion of snagging list internally.
Week 59 – A Wonderful Christmas (just in) Time
External roof and pipework completed, lots of painting to kitchen ceiling & walls and multiple items of snag list completed – all before a great Christmas Day.
